As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the operational delivery of site security, leading on strategic planning, and overseeing the creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assignment instructions.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Delivery: Manage the day-to-day operations of site security, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and facilities.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic security plans, including crisis management, emergency planning, and incident management.
- Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of security professionals, conducting staff appraisals, and encouraging further development and training.
- Collaboration and Liaison: Liaise with police and emergency services, as well as cross-functional teams, including Property and Facilities.
- Incident Management: Respond to and manage security incidents, ensuring a swift and effective response.
- Proven experience in managing operational and strategic security in a corporate environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing and leading inclusive security teams.
- Experience in implementing security strategy, including crisis management, emergency planning, and incident management.
- Passion for service excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality security services.
- Ability to positively influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Professional membership of bodies such as the Security Institute or Institute of Risk Management would be an advantage.
