We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Mental Health Peer Support Worker to join our Complex Needs service at Hestia Housing Support. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to service users, helping them to develop their own wellness and recovery plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of service user visits, support, and interventions provided.
  • Signpost and refer service users to other local services as needed.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Assist service users in developing and leading well-being sessions and groups.
  • Contribute to the promotion and development of the service.
Requirements
  • Draw on your own lived experience of mental health and recovery to empathetically support service users.
  • Co-produce small group and activity sessions to meet the needs of service users.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
