Job Title: Production/Manufacturing Planner

The Production/Manufacturing Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for coordinating and planning production schedules to meet customer demand, while also optimizing inventory levels and managing resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders, collaborating with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure materials and resources are available.
  • Work with purchasing to expedite material as needed, ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Prioritize shop floor dispatches/work centers to meet production schedule manufacturing dates, communicating any delays that may affect production.
  • Manage parts orders for respective product lines to ensure on-time shipments, interacting with customer service for respective product lines.
  • Communicate production updates to Lead Master Scheduler, providing input and feedback in a team setting.
Requirements:
  • Production Planning experience within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production scheduling and inventory management.
  • Ability to collaborate amongst a cross-functional team, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with advanced use of Microsoft Office and other productivity/communication tools.
  • SAP knowledge as it pertains to manufacturing planning and scheduling, with a focus on optimizing production processes and improving efficiency.
