Production Planning Specialist

The Manufacturing Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and optimize production schedules.
- Prioritize shop floor dispatches and work centers to meet production schedule manufacturing dates.
- Communicate production updates to Lead Master Scheduler and provide input and feedback in a team setting.
- Manage parts orders for respective product lines to ensure on-time shipments.
- Interact with customer service for respective product lines.
- Production Planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to collaborate amongst a cross-functional team.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- SAP knowledge as it pertains to manufacturing planning and scheduling.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office and other productivity/communication tools.
