Production Planning Specialist

The Production/Manufacturing Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for coordinating and planning production schedules to meet customer demand, while also optimizing inventory levels and managing resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and optimize production schedules.
- Prioritize shop floor dispatches and work centers to meet production schedule manufacturing dates.
- Communicate production updates to Lead Master Scheduler and work closely with shop floor supervision to address any delays.
- Manage parts orders for respective product lines to ensure on-time shipments.
- Interact with customer service for respective product line and provide input and feedback in a team setting.
- Production Planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to collaborate amongst a cross-functional team.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- SAP knowledge as it pertains to manufacturing planning and scheduling.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office and other productivity/communication tools.
