Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide individualized care and support to young residents. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care and support to young residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Serve as a role model and advocate for the young people, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Work proactively within a professional care team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care.
Requirements:
- Empathy and a passion for helping young people, with a commitment to providing exceptional care.
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work alternate weekends and bank holidays, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to participate in physical activities, with a focus on promoting the health and well-being of our clients.
- Must be over the age of 21, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
- Prior knowledge of child protection issues and understanding of the development needs of children and young people is desirable, but not essential.
Shift Patterns:
- 7:30 – 16:30 and 13:00 – 22:00 with alternate weekends off.
- Willingness to do overnight stays (sleep-ins on a rota basis), with a focus on providing 24/7 care and support.
