About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Hartford Care as a Senior Care Assistant, where you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualised care and support to residents, promoting their privacy, dignity, and independence.
- Supervise and lead the shift team, ensuring a happy and caring atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive environment.
- Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, dressing, and personal care.
- Conduct observations and provide feedback to care assistants.
- Participate in handovers and ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care.
- Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.
- A compassionate and caring nature.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems.
- Ability to lead and motivate staff members.
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
