Salary: £85.00 - £95.00 per day, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Job Description:

We are currently working with a number of specialist schools in County Durham, including those in Stanley, due to an increase in demand for support staff.

This opportunity is ideal for graduates looking to gain experience working with children with SEN. As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will work on a full-time basis and have the chance to develop your skills and confidence in a supportive environment.

The role involves working one-to-one with children who have mild learning difficulties, requiring a strong desire and willingness to provide individualized support.

To succeed in this position, you should be confident, resilient, and empathetic, with a clear understanding of the importance of teamwork.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree or relevant qualification
  • An ability to work effectively with children with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
