About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineering Team Lead to join our UK Healthcare team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Electrical Engineers, managing teams of MEP Engineers, and collaborating with colleagues from other engineering disciplines.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the growth of our UK Healthcare Team and work on healthcare projects throughout the UK, with opportunities to support international healthcare projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Electrical Engineers, managing teams of MEP Engineers, frequently working with colleagues from other engineering disciplines
  • Raise the profile and reputation of the UK Healthcare Team
  • Develop and oversee electrical concepts and design philosophies
  • Inspire and enthuse the engineers and technicians on your projects
  • Liaise with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings
  • Support key accounts and develop new clients
  • Support UK Healthcare team sector business development strategies
  • Produce high quality fee proposals
  • Implement best practice procedures to enhance and maintain delivery of sustainable, zero carbon, innovative and quality advisory and design services
  • Manage your own projects and act as MEP or electrical engineering project manager to allocate resources and co-ordinate tasks
About You

We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in the UK Healthcare sector, preferably with experience in building hospitals within the UK. A degree-level education in a relevant engineering discipline is essential, along with MCIBSE, MIET or MIHEEM qualifications and a thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360.

You should have excellent project management skills, with the ability to run multiple projects of varying size and complexity, as well as a good understanding of project commercial and technical risks.

We are also looking for someone who can motivate and inspire confidence both internally and externally across geographical borders, and who is able to work autonomously on all technical aspects of the discipline.
