Electrical Engineer - Healthcare Sector

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our UK Healthcare Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of our UK Healthcare business and working on healthcare projects throughout the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of Electrical Engineers, managing teams of MEP Engineers and collaborating with colleagues from other engineering disciplines.
  • Raise the profile and reputation of the UK Healthcare Team through exceptional project delivery and client relationships.
  • Develop and oversee electrical concepts and design philosophies, inspiring and enthusing engineers and technicians on your projects.
  • Liaise with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings and supporting key accounts and new business development.
  • Implement best practice procedures to enhance and maintain delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon, innovative, and quality advisory and design services.
  • Manage your own projects and act as MEP or electrical engineering project manager to allocate resources and coordinate tasks.
About You:
  • Must have demonstrable experience with UK Healthcare sector projects, such as the building of hospitals within the UK.
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • MCIBSE, MIET, or MIHEEM and a thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to run multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Understanding of project commercial and technical risks.
  • Excellent communicator capable of explaining complex technical concepts in plain language, verbally and in writing.
  • Able to motivate and inspire confidence both internally and externally across geographical borders.
  • Able to work autonomously on all technical aspects of the discipline.
