Senior Sustainability Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sustainability Director to join our team at Mace. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in driving our company's commitment to reducing its environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement client climate change, sustainability, and social value strategies on individual projects, ensuring their delivery by the project team.
  • Provide technical expertise and promote innovation in areas such as waste, energy/carbon, water, responsible sourcing of materials, and sustainable buildings.
  • Support Mace's drive to be a leader in climate change and sustainability, with a focus on sustainable building design, including embodied and operational carbon and energy reduction.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of sustainable building design, including embodied and operational carbon and energy reduction, in new build and refurbishment projects.
  • Construction or project management background, with a strong understanding of programme, cost, and operational impacts of Net Zero Carbon strategies.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and inspire others to adopt sustainable practices.
