Job Title: Senior Cardiothoracic Nurse Specialist

As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our cardiothoracic department. Your primary role will be to conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history taking and physical examinations
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a post-registration qualification in a relevant specialty
  • Experience working in a cardiothoracic department, with a strong understanding of cardiothoracic nursing practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
