We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Catering Team Leader to join our team at Twycross Zoo. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of catering staff and ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of catering staff to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ensure all sales opportunities are maximized through effective selling techniques
  • Manage cash handling and operate a till with accuracy and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain a good knowledge of all products to advise customers on their choices
  • Actively seek customer feedback and report any health and safety issues to your line manager
  • Promote good safety habits and methods of work
  • Ensure all displays, counters, and seating areas comply with company and statutory health and hygiene requirements
Requirements
  • Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and customers
  • Able to comply with legislation and follow all rules and regulations laid down in the staff handbook and unit policy statements
  • Criminal Records Bureau security checks required where applicable
  • Customer service focused, team player, and able to work under pressure
