Job Title: Outreach Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team in the Colchester area. As an Outreach Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with young adults with complex needs to access Specialist Further Education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individually tailored and designed courses to support students' vocational pathways
  • Provide specialist support and guidance to students in a variety of settings, including students' homes, work placements, and social activities
  • Work closely with students to identify and prompt meaningful skills management and development
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective support

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training for the role
  • Driving licence and car (mileage paid at 35p per mile)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer:

  • Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm role
  • 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
