About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and communication.
  • Assist with medication administration and management, as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of service user interactions, including care plans, progress notes, and incident reports.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in complex care.
Requirements
  • 3 months previous care experience, preferably in a complex care setting.
  • Medication administration training and experience.
  • Personal care and moving and handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
