Key Responsibilities- Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/Manager
- Conduct initial and continuous assessments of needs and potential risks, agreeing levels of support and actions
- Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
- Build supportive, trusting relationships with customers
- Work proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
- Support customers to undertake domestic tasks, including practical assistance where necessary
- Develop links with local statutory and voluntary organisations to provide engagement opportunities for customers
- Empower customers to access the services and benefits they are entitled to
- Undertake administrative work and maintain accurate and comprehensive records
- Encourage and enable tenants to pay their rent and manage rent accounts effectively
- Adhere to Look Ahead's Policies and Procedures
- Engage in learning and development activity to increase knowledge and skills
We are looking for someone who is fundamentally calm and resilient, with a practical and logical mind and a natural ability to be well-organised. You should be confident with high levels of self-esteem, respectful, articulate, and sensitive in your communication style. You should also be customer-focused, motivated towards excellence, and have a can-do attitude.
Requirements- Up to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent or experience in the social care/charity sector
