Coleg Cambria is a leading educational institution committed to digital transformation. Our IT Department requires an experienced Senior Software Development Lead to spearhead the development and delivery of applications and scripting solutions.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our software development team in delivering cutting-edge solutions to meet the diverse needs of the college. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and supporting new and existing systems provided by third-party suppliers.

Salary Range: £48,000 - £52,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using programming languages such as Powershell and .Net.">
  3. Lead and manage the software development team to ensure timely completion of projects.">
  4. Collaborate with various departments to develop innovative scripting, automation, and integration of multiple systems to improve or create new processes.">
  5. Ensure secure and robust data transfer between internal College systems and external platforms.">
  6. Produce comprehensive documentation of all systems specification and development undertaken.">
  7. Develop and deliver training material and work instructions for applications and systems created under this role.">
  8. Contribute to the work of the College's management team to fulfill the College's strategic aims.">

  • Desirable: Welsh language skills.">
