Quantitative Python Analyst (Financial Technology)

OTS Research is in search of a talented and driven Quantitative Python Analyst to become a vital part of our innovative team. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with a strong emphasis on quantitative analysis in the financial sector, particularly in FX or cryptocurrency markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work collaboratively with quantitative analysts to design, optimize, and enhance trading algorithms, ensuring peak performance and precision.

- Leverage expertise in quantitative analysis to dissect intricate data sets and derive actionable insights that can significantly influence trading methodologies.

- Utilize Python to create and sustain effective data analysis frameworks and algorithms.

- Engage in comprehensive data exploration to uncover new trading prospects and patterns within the FX and cryptocurrency domains.

- Develop and evaluate both linear and non-linear modeling strategies to boost predictive accuracy and model efficiency.

- Generate detailed analytical reports and convey findings to stakeholders and team members to facilitate informed decision-making.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist with a solid foundation in Python programming.

- In-depth knowledge of quantitative analysis, especially in FX or cryptocurrency trading.

- Expertise in linear modeling and its application in financial analysis.

- Proven track record in data exploration and managing extensive, complex datasets.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with quantitative analysts and other team members.

- Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

- Familiarity with additional programming languages or analytical tools is advantageous.
