'Course Details

We are pleased to offer a Research Skills Educator position to join our team at Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE). As a Research Skills Educator, you will play a crucial role in delivering our expanding programme of researcher skills and development training. This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) position available on a permanent contract. The salary for this role is estimated at £40,000 - £50,500 per annum, based on a 20-hour working week.

About You

You will hold a relevant postgraduate qualification, including a doctorate, in a subject broadly related to our graduate programmes. Your experience in teaching, research skills, and pedagogy will be essential in this role. We are looking for someone who is a collaborative team player with excellent networking skills and a strong ability to adapt to changing situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions to postgraduate students
  • Develop and maintain training materials and resources
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on training activities
  • Contribute to the development of new training initiatives and materials
