About the Role

As a Senior Physiotherapist with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients. Your primary responsibility will be to lead, plan, and coordinate the delivery and evaluation of inpatient rehabilitation care.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing specialist physiotherapy intervention to patients with complex presentations. This will involve assessing and treating your own caseload of patients, working autonomously and maintaining a high-level clinical skill set within the team.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic to undertake evidence-based projects, including recommendations for change in practice and service development. You will also participate in research and audit, contributing to the improvement of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the delivery and evaluation of inpatient rehabilitation care
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy intervention to patients with complex presentations
  • Maintain a high-level clinical skill set within the team
  • Undertake evidence-based projects and contribute to service development
