Our Expansion and Renovation Project

We are currently undergoing a major expansion and renovation project, which will see the addition of a new event space, The Masters Suite, 149 extra bedrooms, and a state-of-the-art leisure club. About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commis Chef to join our team at the Ryder Grill kitchen. As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a la carte menu items, working from specification sheets to ensure timely and accurate delivery. You will also be expected to set up and prepare menu items for your section, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service
  • Take ownership of the kitchen in the absence of the kitchen management team
Requirements
  • Professional cookery level 3 qualification
  • Experience working in a fresh food kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Passionate about food and working with seasonal ingredients
  • Standards-driven, with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to develop strong relationships with colleagues and team members
