Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and experienced Sous Chef to assist our Executive Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel cuisine, with experience in managing multiple outlets, including banqueting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Head Chef in planning and executing menus, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our guests.
  • Manage a team of chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring they align with the company's culinary vision.
  • Monitor kitchen inventory, managing stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a hotel or fine dining establishment.
  • Strong background in hotel cuisine, with experience in managing multiple outlets, including banqueting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes, with attention to detail and presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary, ranging from £38,500 to £40,000 per annum.
  • A 40-hour full-time contract, with paid overtime for hours worked beyond 40.
