About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at The Eastside Rooms, a unique and innovative hotel that combines style and heritage. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service delivery to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Ensure efficient kitchen operations, including inventory management and food safety
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Participate in menu development and implementation

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Chef Assistant in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
