Exciting Opportunity for a Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our client's fine-dining restaurant in Birmingham City Centre. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure high standards of quality and service
  • Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu ideas
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fine-dining restaurant
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train junior staff
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on presentation, flavor, and quality
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
