Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team in the North West. As a key member of our High-Tech and Manufacturing sector, you will lead a multi-functional Project Controls team to provide realistic baselines and effective controls for project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a robust breakdown structure integrating data from each control function.
  • Coordinate planning sessions and workshops to compile a master project/programme schedule baseline.
  • Manage risk assessments to support cost and schedule predictability.
  • Stakeholder management ensuring sign-off on the baseline and regular progress updates.
  • Embed a robust update process for managing schedule, interfaces, cost, risk, and changes.
  • Guide and influence principal contractors and clients to drive delivery and achieve KPIs.
Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering controls in major projects/programmes.
  • Experience working in Hi-Tech & Manufacturing specialist sectors.
  • Management of multi-functional controls teams.
  • Proficiency with Primavera (P6), Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes.
