Do you have a passion for human factors engineering? We are seeking an experienced Ergonomics Engineer to join our team in Plymouth. As an Ergonomics Engineer, you will work on designing and improving the usability and accessibility of complex systems and equipment.

You will be responsible for conducting human factors assessments and developing solutions to improve the performance and safety of these systems. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of human factors principles and safety case production.

The ideal candidate will have a first degree in Psychology and an MSc in Occupational Psychology or a related field. They should have significant experience working in high hazard process industries and be familiar with human factors qualitative and quantitative HRA techniques. A sound understanding of engineering concepts and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers and other scientific disciplines is essential.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience). This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including hybrid working and onsite fortnightly.

Please note that due to the security nature of this role, candidates must have lived in the UK in the last 5 years and be eligible for SC Clearance.
