Morson Talent is currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Ergonomics Consultant to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our Human Factors team, you will be responsible for providing expert support in the design development of new or modified site systems, processes, and facilities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of ergonomics and human factors. You will also be involved in providing human factors input into the nuclear safety assessment process, as well as supporting the successful implementation and validation of the human performance elements of the safety case within the operation business setting.
This position offers a competitive salary of £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities. If you have significant experience working within high hazard process industries, such as nuclear, defence, or petrochemical, and possess a sound understanding of nuclear safety assessment principles and safety case production, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding role.
The ideal candidate will have a First degree in Psychology, plus an MSc in Occupational Psychology, Applied Psychology, or Industrial Psychology, or an engineering degree with high psychological/ergonomics content (or equivalent). You will also be a Registered Member of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors or a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society, with experience of working in the Human Factors field within high hazard industries.
