Specialist Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Care Worker to join our nurse-led care team in the Maldon & Chelmsford area. The successful candidate will provide care to a 4-year-old male with Kleesstra Syndrome, a genetic development condition that requires complex care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and support to the client, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and medical procedures.
- Working closely with the client's family and our clinical team to ensure the highest standard of care and support.
- Participating in the development and implementation of the client's care plan, in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to the client and their family.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in care work, preferably in a specialist setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights.

Shifts Available:
Part-time Night shift - Thursdays 10pm-7am. Other night and day shift work may be available in the Essex area if you wish to boost your hours.
We provide a comprehensive nurse-led training and induction programme, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Care Worker in the Specialist Team.
We are looking for people who have excellent people skills, are great communicators and can work effectively in a team as well as independently.
We believe that home care is a way of improving people's lives and within your role as a Care Worker you will be responsible for helping them to continue living the life they prefer to lead within their own home environment. Previous caring experience is an advantage, but not essential.
