Job Title: Residential Deputy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Deputy Manager to join our team at CareTech Group. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

About the Role:

The Residential Deputy Manager will assist the Registered Manager in providing an emotionally secure and supportive environment for our young people. You will be responsible for supervising the team, completing assessment reports, and supporting the referral process. Additionally, you will be on-call one week on and one week off, and align the Registered Manager's ideas across the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support the team to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Complete assessment reports and 6-weekly reports
  • Support the referral process and ensure the smooth transition of young people into our care
  • Be on-call one week on and one week off to provide support and guidance to the team
  • Align the Registered Manager's ideas across the team, including education
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in children's residential care
  • QCF Level 3 Children & Young People qualification or equivalent
  • Level 5 - Leadership & Management (preferred)
  • Driver's license (company vehicle provided)
  • Ability to work a 3-office day and 1-long day supporting the young people
