Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager in providing exceptional care and support to our young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the Team Leaders and new starters to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Complete assessment reports, 6-weekly reports, and other relevant documentation to ensure accurate and timely information is available.
  • Support the referral process to ensure that our young people receive the best possible care and support.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, providing support and guidance to the team as needed.
  • Align the Registered Manager's ideas across the team, including education, to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to care.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in children's residential care.
  • QCF Level 3 Children & Young People qualification or equivalent.
  • Level 5 - Leadership & Management qualification (desirable).
  • Valid driver's license (company vehicle provided).
  • Ability to work a 3-day office week and 1 long day supporting the young people.
