Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical Manager to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of technical quality and safety within our FMCG manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical management, with experience in implementing and mentoring staff on technical strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring that all technical standards, customer codes of practice, and food legislation are consistently adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To assist the Head of Technical in implementing and mentoring staff on technical strategies.
  • To ensure that all technical standards, customer codes of practice, and food legislation are consistently adhered to.
  • To deputise for the Head of Technical in their absence.
  • To manage and maintain a high standard of general housekeeping in all areas.
  • Managing external and internal site audits, raising and communicating non-conformances and ensuring that effective and timely close out actions are implemented to prevent further incidents.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a technical manager role.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment, specifically FMCG industry.
  • Confident with collaborating cross functionally through the business.
Salary & Benefits:
  • £43,000- £46,000 DOE.
  • Full benefits package available.
