About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Children and Families team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to children and families, promoting positive outcomes and supporting the development of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take on a protected caseload and work to create the best outcomes for children and young people with complex and challenging needs, risks, and circumstances.
  • Lead in promoting and supporting quality control and improvement activities within the team and across the service.
  • Provide supervision and management oversight for the practice and development of Trainee Social Workers on placement and NQSW within the team.
  • Contribute to the development of our team's skills and knowledge, ensuring that we are equipped to provide the best possible services to children and families.
Requirements
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Experience at Senior Social Worker level.
  • A recognised qualification in Social Work.
  • To have completed your ASYE year (if you qualified after 2012).
  • A full driving licence and willingness to drive.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
