Job Title: Mobile Air-Conditioning Maintenance Engineer

CBRE is seeking a skilled Mobile Air-Conditioning Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Global Workplace Solutions team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of mechanical and electrical systems across our sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Travel to sites across the UK, utilizing a full UK driving license.
  2. Perform routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and electrical plant, adhering to Site task schedules and asset lists.
  3. Identify and rectify plant faults and defects, ensuring all systems remain in serviceable order.
  4. Manage spares inventory to facilitate maintenance and reactive works.
  5. Complete relevant paperwork for PPM, reactive, and breakdown works, submitting it to the contract administrator in a timely manner.
  6. Develop and utilize Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks, ensuring safe working practices.
  7. Establish and maintain positive relationships with CBRE staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  8. Maintain up-to-date shift logs and ensure plant rooms are secure, clean, and tidy.
  9. Supervise and monitor subcontractor works, ensuring compliance with CBRE Quality, Health & Safety procedures and client requirements.
  10. Provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice, demonstrating flexibility in working patterns.
  11. Undertake lone working, subject to satisfactory training.
  12. Ensure tasks are completed with appropriate H&S awareness and implementation.
  13. Maintain the Computer-Based Maintenance system, SI LOCAL, and close out PPM and reactive tickets with accurate data capture.
  14. Operate a Permit to Work System in accordance with CBRE Quality, Health & Safety procedures and client requirements.
  15. Provide holiday and emergency cover as required, potentially at sites not normally covered.
Requirements:
  1. A good basic education, with excellent written and spoken English.
  2. CITY AND GUILDS qualification in a relevant field.
