We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Administrator to join our team at Workingmums. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing operational and continuous improvement skills to deliver laboratory needs and contribute to achieving World Class standards of operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out laboratory analysis in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and operate and continuously improve departmental control systems to achieve the highest standards of operations.
- Maintain equipment and work area in optimum condition by performing autonomous maintenance and 5S tasks during the normal course of operations.
- Work within all local hygiene, health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practice, including HACCP, COSHH, BRC, FEMAS, and Safety the Molson Coors way.
- Review and continuously improve performance management standards and systems while actively engaging with communication processes to share outputs with colleagues, peers, and management groups.
Requirements
- Significant experience working in an appropriate lab environment in a food/drink manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on chemistry.
- Effectively communicate with teams on other shifts through logbooks and daily handover meetings and facilitate meetings and team-based project groups.
- Plan, coordinate, and improve work done by the team, as a member of that team, and achieve World Class Supply Chain validation.
- Detailed knowledge of SAP.
