Job Summary

The Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit at Queens Hospital Burton is a MHRA licensed facility that produces a range of products on its busy production lines, generating significant revenue for the Trust.

Main Responsibilities

Develop and manage Pharmacy QC laboratory services and policies to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, national and local guidance.

Provide technical supervision, training, and manual support to technical staff in the testing of raw materials, packaging components, pharmaceutical specials, product licensed items, and items under development.

Confirm that quality control operations are performed in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice, Good Manufacturing Practice, Marketing Authorisations, and Licences held, ensuring that manufactured medicinal products are fit for their intended use and comply with regulatory requirements.
