A housing association is seeking a Repairs Officer on a temporary basis to assist with responsive repairs for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the progression and completion of day-to-day repairs with urgency to ensure timely resolution.
  2. Review and accept quotes, checking for reasonableness and accuracy.
  3. Communicate with internal and external customers to keep them informed about repair status and expected completion dates.
  4. Answer questions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Understand customer and colleague needs to deliver effective repairs solutions.
  6. Triaged and diagnose repairs to prioritize and allocate resources efficiently.
  7. Analyse quotes, invoices, and variations to verify costs and works.
  8. Investigate repair causes and liaise with relevant parties to ensure accurate closure or recall of repairs.

This is an office-based role.

PAYE rate: £15.67 & Umbrella rate: £20.60

Essential Requirements:

  1. Repairs background in Housing.
  2. Excellent communication skills.
  3. Immediate availability or short notice.
