Disability Sports Volunteer Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of Disability Sports Volunteer Opportunity. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial part in helping adults with learning disabilities access sport and physical activity. You will work closely with our team to deliver accessible sports sessions at our Community Hub and across Birmingham.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sports, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with individuals with varying levels of ability. Experience in delivering sports activities to groups is beneficial but not essential.
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience in disability sport, network, and build relationships with individuals in the sport and care/support industry. You will also receive any necessary training and support to ensure your success in the role.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver sports activities in a fun, inclusive, and engaging manner
- Help create and deliver session plans meeting the needs of the participants
- Develop and maintain relationships with individuals in the sport and care/support industry
- Enhance your skills and gain experience in disability sport
