About the Role

As a Senior International Casualty Underwriter at SCOR, you will play a key role in developing and managing a profitable and sustainable portfolio of international casualty risks. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining relationships with brokers and clients, while also driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Development and Management: Develop and maintain a profitable portfolio of international casualty risks, with a focus on building and sustaining relationships with brokers and clients.
  • Underwriting and Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough underwriting and risk assessment of international casualty risks, ensuring that all necessary information is gathered and analyzed to make informed decisions.
  • Market Analysis and Intelligence: Conduct market analysis and gather intelligence on industry trends and developments, to inform underwriting decisions and drive business growth.
  • Broker and Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the services provided.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance, market trends, and other relevant information, to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Requirements
  • Extensive Underwriting Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in underwriting international casualty risks, with a strong understanding of the market and industry trends.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to gather and analyze complex information, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Business Development and Growth: Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability, with a strong understanding of market trends and industry developments.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and other stakeholders.
