About the Role


We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to work within the Ward Flow Co-ordinator role. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will support patient flow through the hospital and work with clinical teams to facilitate simple and complex discharges.



Main Responsibilities



  • You will work under the direction of the Ward Manager on the Acute Medical Unit and the Flow Team Leader.
  • Manage an ever-changing workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication skills.
  • Be IT literate and willing to learn new skills.
  • Work well under pressure, prioritising your workload independently.
  • Be approachable and open to a changing work environment.

Requirements



  • GCSE's or A Levels.
  • Experience in an acute healthcare setting or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of the NHS and its demands.
  • IT skills and ability to prioritise workload.
