About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team in the South East region. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager in overseeing the development of our residential apartments in Paddock Wood, Kent.

Using specified drawings and instructions, you will assist in managing all aspects of the building site, including health and safety issues, trades and material coordination, site presentation, and cost control. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the development is built to Company and NHBC standards, meeting all deadlines and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Site Manager in managing the construction cycle, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Assist in coordinating trades and materials, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing delays.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers, specialists, and in-house teams to achieve critical objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of the site, ensuring it is presented in a professional and attractive manner.
Requirements
  • Relevant previous site experience in building residential apartments and new homes.
  • Qualified First Aider at Work and holding a CSCS Card.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Management, preferably on the NHBC Site Manager Accreditation programme.
  • Assertive and calm under pressure, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Valid UK driver's license.
