Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our schools, which cater to students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex needs. Our primary focus is on creating a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters the growth and development of all our learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in their daily activities and learning experiences, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene needs as required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that meets the diverse needs of our students.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their participation and enthusiasm in class.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs), working closely with teachers and other professionals.
Requirements
  • A caring and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to support students in their development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
