Special Education Needs Assistant

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Early Years SEND Support Worker to join our team at a primary school in Camden. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalized support to children with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.
Key Responsibilities- Providing 1 to 1 support to children with special educational needs, including those with developmental and communication difficulties
- Assisting with feeding and personal care tasks as needed
- Supporting children to access play and learning activities, and encouraging social interaction with peers
To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with complex needs. You should be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the importance of creating a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and development of all children.
What We OfferThe salary for this role is approximately £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a full-time employee, you will enjoy a term-time only contract, which allows for a healthy work-life balance.
