Nurse Delivery Lead

The Clinical Innovation Delivery Lead will play a pivotal role in facilitating the delivery of the Trust Innovation Strategy, serving as the primary point of contact between the Trust and innovators seeking to collaborate on addressing unmet needs, commercializing good ideas, and enhancing patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities- Oversee the delivery of the Trust Innovation Programme, collaborating across multiple clinical disciplines, as well as Commercial, Finance, Commissioning, Communications, and Information Management teams.
- Provide coaching and guidance to front-line staff, signposting them to relevant expertise, offering constructive feedback, and sharing knowledge and skills.
- Lead the development of the Trust Innovation Plan, ensuring CPFT remains ambitious and reflects all options for delivery.
- Participate in various Trust forums to formulate strategic and operational plans, ensuring the Innovation Strategy aligns with organizational objectives.

Key Challenges and Opportunities- Continuing the development and implementation of the CUHP Innovation Landing Zone at CPFT and supporting other CUHP provider organizations to embed landing zones.
- Ensuring the sequencing and delivery of milestones and tasks through a robust project management approach.
- Establishing and supporting governance structures.
- Supporting the Trust innovation strategy.
- Creating and implementing new business development opportunities, working closely with clinicians and departments as stakeholders.
- Developing a series of case studies identifying key clinical and operational challenges across the Trust with the best potential to be addressed by health technology solutions.
- Conducting systematic horizon scanning for relevant high-quality commercial responses to clinical problems, as well as opportunities, and co-creating and implementing solutions with industry partners.
- Postgraduate research qualification, e.g., PhD in life sciences or a related discipline, or clinical qualification, or equivalent experience.
- A successful track record of preparing and supporting substantial research and/or investment funding proposals.
- Experience of building, maintaining, and leveraging successful relationships with staff at all levels in an organization.
- Managerial and/or coaching experience.
- Flexible and responsive to changing environments, comfortable leading on change.
- Passionate and enthusiastic about innovation.
