Job Title: Front End/Web Developer

Location: Northampton Studio/Hybrid remote

Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 DOE

Engine Creative is seeking a skilled Front-End/Web Developer to join our team. As a dynamic and innovative developer, you will be responsible for crafting seamless website deployments, pioneering interactive 3D web applications, and contributing to the transformative world of AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain responsive web solutions leveraging React, JavaScript, and WordPress.
  • Implement 3D and spatial features using React Three Fiber (training can be provided).
  • Collaborate with designers to materialise UI/UX visions into captivating web encounters.
  • Occasionally support back-end development with PHP and other server-side frameworks.
  • Administer server deployments across AWS, 20i, and various VPS environments, ensuring robust and secure configurations.
  • Engage in managing DNS and hosting intricacies with a sharp eye on performance and reliability.
  • Innovate in AR, VR, and AI spaces, contributing to cutting-edge, forward-thinking solutions that redefine user interactions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline or comparable hands-on experience.
  • A track record of success in Front-End Development, with compelling project examples.

Technical Skills:

  • Mastery in React and JavaScript is a must.
  • WordPress adeptness or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Interest or experience in 3D coding, spatial tech, and React Three Fiber is sought after.
  • Grasp of PHP and back-end tech fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with AWS and similar cloud services, along with hands-on server and DNS management skills.
  • Exposure to AR, VR, and AI technologies would set candidates apart.
