Job Title: Employee Relations Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled HR Assistant to join our Shared Services team. As an HR Assistant, you will provide HR support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HR support and advice to employees and line managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Contribute to HR projects such as security screening and vetting, and other projects as they arise.
- Handle maternity, paternity, adoption, and parental leave processes and queries.
- Support with administration of investigations for disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Proactively contribute to the development and maintenance of human resource policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Excellent presentational skills for all correspondence, letters, presentations, and data.
- Computer literacy with demonstrable ability in Microsoft packages and databases, including Excel.
- Assertive, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work to tight timescales.
- Builds appropriate professional, friendly, and accessible relationships with employees and line managers.
