Job Role:
HR Assistant
We are seeking an HR Assistant to provide support and administration to our HR team in Luton or Gateshead.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HR support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner
- Contribute to HR projects, such as security screening and vetting, and provide administration support to the HR Advisor
- Handle maternity, paternity, adoption, and parental leave processes and queries
- Support the administration of investigations for disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of human resource policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Excellent presentational skills for all correspondence, letters, presentations, and data
- Computer literacy with demonstrable ability in Microsoft packages and databases, including Excel
- Assertive, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work to tight timescales
- Ability to build professional, friendly, and accessible relationships with employees and line managers
