Teaching Opportunity in a Supportive Environment

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Teacher to join our team at Pebble Academy Muirkirk, East Ayrshire. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualised learning plans for students aged 11-18, using your expertise to foster academic growth and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Develop and deliver tailored learning plans for students with Additional Support Needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective educational programs
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, addressing their social, emotional, and academic needs
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and guardians

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Educated to degree level with undergraduate/postgraduate teaching qualification
  • Secondary school teaching experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work with students who have experienced trauma and challenge
  • A current valid driving license and PVG enhanced clearance
  • Full registration with General Teaching Council for Scotland and right to work in the UK
