About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Environment Business, who will be responsible for the project management of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil installation schemes within our Yorkshire Water Frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil installation schemes within our Yorkshire Water Frameworks
- Reporting to the Delivery Manager, supporting the Project Delivery Team
- Co-ordinating and liaising with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions, site installations and construction teams
- Assuming responsibility of the financial performance of each project with overall responsibility for Profit/Loss on contracts undertaken
- Participating in monthly financial reviews for all schemes with the Commercial Manager, ensuring that all Project Engineers have prepared accurate financial performance reports
- Developing, in conjunction with the Project Planner, a detailed project programme ensuring that it is maintained to drive the project to key deliverable milestones
- Ascertaining preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions with the Project Delivery team to lead the way in optimisation and performance
- Ensuring the Health & Safety of yourself and others, encouraging a safe and collaborative working environment that supports our Health, Safety and Environment culture
About You
We are looking for a strong team player who is also able to work well as an individual with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines.
You will have a wealth of experience in working within the water and or sewage industries, and will hold a relevant ONC/HNC/ or NVQ equivalent.
It is also essential that you hold a CSCS card and IOSH or CITD Day Site Safety Management (SMSTS) qualification.
