Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in South Kent Coast CMHT. As a key member of our Community Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to individuals with mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized intervention plans.
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including group and individual sessions, to promote recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Provide supervision and mentoring to junior occupational therapists and support workers.
- Contribute to service development and audits to ensure continuous improvement and quality care.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
- Experience in completing OT assessments and delivering interventions in a community setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with individuals with mental health difficulties.
- Knowledge of relevant OT theoretical models and national policy and procedure.
