Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and interventions for mothers and their infants, utilizing evidence-based psychological therapies and best practices.
  • Provide expert supervision and consultation to the Perinatal Mental Health Service, ensuring high-quality care and support for patients and staff.
  • Develop and lead pathway and interface development with local stakeholders, fostering collaboration and improving patient outcomes.
  • Support the development of junior psychologists and non-psychology staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Lead staff wellbeing initiatives and stress resilience approaches, prioritizing the mental health and wellbeing of our team members.

Requirements:

  • Professional and doctoral training in Clinical/Counseling psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.
  • Significant experience in specialist psychological assessment and treatment across various care settings, with a focus on perinatal mental health.
  • Proven track record of supporting staff wellbeing and managing challenging cases, with a commitment to creating a positive and supportive work environment.
